In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 News and Magazines applications in Latvia exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 63 in the first week of April and peaking at 96 in the first week of June. This upward trend continued into late June, with downloads reaching 95.

Way2News Daily News App experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 106 in early April and dropping to 29 by the end of June. The lowest point was in mid-June with only 23 downloads, but there was a slight recovery towards the end of the month.

Google News - Daily Headlines had a fluctuating download pattern throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 120 in mid-June, after an initial dip to 55 at the end of April. The app finished the quarter strong with 107 downloads in the last week of June.
